GARFIELD PARK CONSERVATORY, CHICAGO

Garfield Park Conservatory is an interesting place.

The observatory and grounds are beautiful. Unfortunately, the Garfield Park neighborhood is…questionable. The Conservatory has it’s own stop along the Green Line L Train, so it’s only a short little walk from the station to the conservatory. I can’t say I felt like I would be safe wandering around the rest of Garfield Park. If you visit Chicago and have time, please go visit Garfield Park Conservatory. Just plan on going back toward downtown before grabbing lunch or dinner.
