BUCKINGHAM FOUNTAIN: PRACTICING NIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY

I haven’t done much night photography.

Or long exposure photography. I recently upgraded to a slightly better camera (went from a Canon Rebel t3 to a Nikon D7000), and decided to hang out by Buckingham Fountain in Chicago last night to try my hand at some long exposure shots. It seemed like the ideal place to start, since I could try out getting the silky look of water, and the fountain has a 20 minute light and water show every hour. Here are my favorite shots:

fountain and city closer (1 of 1)

fountain day (1 of 1)

fountain sunburst 2 (1 of 1)

fountain sunset (1 of 1)

fountain darkish (1 of 1)

fountain colors (1 of 1)

fountain dark no 3 (1 of 1)
