I spent a rainy Sunday afternoon visiting the Driehaus Museum in Chicago.
It’s located just a couple of blocks off of the Magnificent Mile. The museum is inside of the restored mansion of Samuel M. Nickerson, a wealthy Chicago banker from the late 1800’s. It houses a collection of art, design and architecture from the Gilded Age and art nouveau era.
It was very dark inside of the museum, which made it difficult to take pictures. Bad lighting, and no flash or tripods allowed.
